"I was given materials about Fingersmears to review and was immediately inspired to go to your website. Although you work with all age groups, we share a focus on girls, and know that art is a great approach to promote what many of them need: an outlet for expressing emotions that builds rather than breaks down relationships. Fingersmears also offers a wonderful opportunity for dialogue across ages and cultures. "

"While the idea that everything is connected is not new, the world today is more complex and interdependent than ever –and we, as a species have evolved to create tools that connect us in many new ways. And yet it seems difficult for us rise above and see how the major issues of our day are interlinked. Kelly's Global FingerSmear project is another great way to remind not only girls, but everyone that interacts with the project how important and powerful that connection can be."
